Both returned good download speed (NordVPN was registering 85mbps, PIA was registering around 80mbps consistently) and good upload speed (around 8mbps for both). No gripes with either VPN on the speed front. Hopefully, others who are also on the lookout for a VPN can learn something from my experience: I’m NOT an expert on things like encryption but I decided to write up a quick review and share it with Reddit. I decided to take a look at both NordVPN vs PIA (Private Internet Access) to see which suited my needs best. My main priority was speed but I also needed privacy.
